關於 John Legend <You Deserve It All>
奇耳在寫翻譯之前，複習的幾次MV，有兩個看了直打哆嗦之處這邊必須分享，其一是白髮蒼蒼老太太的勁歌熱舞、其二是約翰傳奇的眼神似乎完全沒有聚焦鏡頭。
但這並不影響整齣<You Deserve It All>MV帶給聽眾的佳節氛圍。三分多鐘的音樂錄影帶裡宛如百貨公司專櫃般的精緻佈景，沒有任何一處錯過妝點聖誕節配色的機會（業配商品也是，開頭就賞你一部電視）。而身為業界大佬的音樂製作也沒有可以嫌漏的地方，比Michael Bublé還要溫犉儒雅的聲線也凸顯的完美，聽起來是沒有半點稜角的舒適。

至於歌詞內容，就別想那麼多啦！奇耳在下筆準備翻譯的時候，原本還苦惱半天，這個「我」和歌詞的對方「你」是指誰和誰，彼此的關係是什麼，跟John本人有關係嗎？是不是我錯過2021年的什麼演藝圈八卦？結果都沒有，整首歌詞的劇情就是在說你值得，沒有大道理、也沒有寓意，但隨著我思路到這邊，就那麼剛好的掉到這首歌想告訴聽眾的內容，也就是：『請好好享受假期』這個概念，就像是每本正向心理學書籍都會告訴讀者要在人生道路中停下片刻、回頭看看自己走了多遠、放下心防不用再緊繃度日，而John Legend挑了個再適合不過節日。

Oh, this is my love language，愛的語言是什麼啊？這個台灣人可能有點難理解，畢竟“愛”這件事在儒家思想中並不存在（或者只是奇耳成長的家庭比較傳統），但中文裡確實沒有一個相對應的單字可以拿來描述，我本人也是從歐美影集中習得這個詞的。一言以蔽之，love language不是指語言、甚至不是一句話、單單的講出我愛你這樣，它的概念更像是一個人是如何表達他的愛意。例如奇耳喜歡擁抱，對朋友、對寵物、對愛人都是先抱再說，那擁抱就是奇耳的“love language”。
And you deserve it all (All)，整首歌曲裡的括號all都不會翻譯出來，因為這單字扮演的角色不是特別什麼意思，而是類似「Oh」的和聲作用，約翰傳奇很有創意吧。
Come over here，去誰那邊啊？歌詞也不像是侷限於男女朋友的歌，這樣單身漢們也不用擔心無處可尋。因為MV內的劇情是好多人搞砸了正在做的事，然後John現身邀舞，所以才做出「偶爾放鬆一下吧」的翻譯。
